Shipping Holds

Big Sky Fulfillment asks all of our clients to assume the responsibility of clearing Holds. 

Fraud Hold

The shopping platform (Shopify, etc) will at times place an order in Fraud status based on their own fraud protection algorithms that help detect high-risk orders. This should only be cleared after a thorough review of the order, or consider cancellation of the order.

Address Hold

ShipHero will place an address hold automatically if the address fails to validate per the USPS global database *and* cannot automatically correct it. This can be caused by a mis-typing of the address, details in the wrong fields, etc. It is recommended to verify with Google Maps and similar resources that the address is valid and shippable before clearing this hold. 

Shipping labels may still be created without any modification if this hold is cleared, however there is higher risk of a mis-ship that will be returned by the warehouse.

- If needed an address can be edited by hitting the Pen Icon in the Shipping Address box

-Address Holds can be removed by navigating to the bottom of the order page in the Holds box.
    -Uncheck the box and hit Update.

Payment Hold

The order is awaiting payment or there is another issue with payment.

Operator Hold

This option is for a support representative to remove the order from the shipping queue for troubleshooting.
