When shipping inventory to Big Sky Fulfillment there are several things that can be done to help improve the speed and accuracy of the receiving process.
Ship to Address: When shipping packages to Big Sky Fulfillment (BSF) please include both your client name and BSF in the Ship to Address. This allows receiving to quickly identify the client and any special needs the product may have.

Labeling of Boxes: When able, boxes should be labeled with product SKU and label that aligns with BSF SKU in ShipHero.
Labeling of PO: Purchase Order number should be clearly displayed on the package(s) so that the correct PO can be identified, speeding up the receiving process.
Description of Product: While having the description of the product on the package is nice, it carries a greater risk of error than having the SKU. Matching SKUs to products within POs is far less error-prone.
Creation of PO within ShipHero: Product cannot be received without a PO. Delays in submitting a PO will cause a shipment to go to the end of the queue and remain in receiving indefinitely.
Damage Product Notation: Product that is damaged will have photos taken of it and noted on the PO. Efforts will be made to subtract the damaged product from the amount received, however, there may be unobservable damage within the pallet that will be removed from inventory upon discovery.
Product without UPCs: Product that arrives without a UPC or SKU on individual items is subject to greater risk of discrepancies throughout the shipping process. In order to mitigate this is recommended that the SKU is labeled on the outside of the box or pallet. There should be an effort to not mix product within a package, and sent SKUs in separate packaging.
Pallet Labeling: Pallets at a minimum should be labeled with your company’s name as well as the PO# within ShipHero.
SKUs With Lot Tracking: Lot codes should be visible on the exterior of all incoming pallets/parcels. If your products use lot tracking, we will ask that you keep incoming shipments restricted to one lot code per SKU on a pallet.
Special Instructions: Special instructions for a particular PO should be added to the notes section of the PO. This will ensure that the receiving team follows those instructions.
Partial Shipments: A PO should be submitted for every individual shipment. If an order is coming in two separate deliveries, please create a PO for each dropoff.
